Insertion paddle flow switches up to 250 bar
Insertion paddle flow switches up to 250 bar screw into a socket on a large pipe and switch at an adjustable flow of water, coolant or thin oil. One switch covers the pipe sizes DN 50, 80, 100 and 150. The G 1/2" male thread screws into a socket on the pipe. The paddle must stand upright in the pipe, with the arrow in the flow direction. The switch point depends on the pipe size: the larger the pipe, the higher the flow at which the switch reacts.
Brass versions are rated to 100 bar (≈1450 psi) and +70 °C (≈158 °F), stainless steel versions to 250 bar (≈3630 psi) and +110 °C (≈230 °F). The sliding switch unit sets the switch point and normally open or normally closed operation.
For pipes up to G 1 1/2", choose an inline paddle flow switch. A replacement reed contact unit is listed under flow accessories.
