Identify the installed strainer before purchase of a seal kit. These replacement seals serve strainer maintenance at the cover or screen. Match the kit to the strainer model and version, because the seal must fit the parts removed during service.

Match the replacement set

Check the model marking or supplier code on the installed strainer. Compare it with the seal kit product data. Some replacement sets name a specific product line, so confirm the version as well as the nominal strainer size.

Check the seal material against the liquid and the service temperature in the product data. Replace the seal when the existing seal no longer gives the required fit during reassembly. If the screen also needs replacement, select a Strainer Replacement Screen that fits the same strainer. The screen and seal kit are separate spare-part choices.
