NG6 (D03) Pressure Relief Valves
NG6 (D03) pressure relief valves are sandwich plates that limit the pressure in one or more lines of a single valve station. They mount between the directional control valve and the sub-plate, with the NG6 interface to ISO 4401-03, CETOP 3 and NFPA D03 on both faces, so a pressure function is added without extra piping.
Choose the version by the line to protect. P to T limits the supply pressure of the station, independently of the rest of the system. A to T, B to T or A and B to T limit the pressure in the actuator lines, for example to give one cylinder a lower force than the others, or to protect it against pressure peaks from external loads. A crossover version relieves A into B and B into A, which protects a hydraulic motor or cylinder without returning the oil to tank.
Then choose a setting range that contains the required pressure, and check the flow against the station. Every sandwich plate adds height to the stack, so the mounting screws of the directional valve must be longer by the clamp length of each plate.
