Collection:NG6 (D03) 4-3-Way Directional Control Valves

NG6 (D03) 4-3-way directional control valves move a double-acting cylinder or hydraulic motor in both directions and stop it in a centre position. They have two solenoids and springs that centre the spool when both coils are switched off. The NG6 interface to ISO 4401-03, CETOP 3 and NFPA D03 means valves of different makes fit the same sub-plate or manifold.

The centre position is the main selection point. With all ports blocked, the actuator holds its position and the pump line stays under pressure. With P blocked and A and B open to T, the actuator is relieved and can move under external force, which suits pilot-operated check valves. With P open to T and A and B blocked, the actuator holds while the pump circulates to tank at low pressure. With all ports open, the actuator floats and the pump unloads. The spool symbol in the type code identifies the centre function.

After the spool symbol, choose the coil voltage and check flow and pressure against the circuit. Mounting screws and plug connectors are usually ordered separately, and the screw length depends on the valve make and on any sandwich plates stacked underneath.
