Flow control valve accessories make hydraulic throttle valves and throttle check valves easier to install and operate. The main item is the panel mounting set, which holds the valve behind a control panel so only the adjustment knob is on the front. The operator can then change the speed setting without reaching into the machine or opening a guard.

A panel mounting set consists of a flat washer, a thin hex nut and a toothed lock washer that clamp the valve body to the panel. It fastens the valve mechanically only: it has no seal, carries no pressure and has no hydraulic connection, so the valve ports are piped as usual.

Select the set by the thread size and series of the valve, because the nut must fit the valve body. A set for a given size fits both the throttle valve and the throttle check valve of that size and series.
